기분이 좋아지면 나는 친구들을 만난다. 나는 주변에 꽤 성공한 친구들이 많다. 그들이 부럽기도 하면서 나는 내 길을 가야 한다는 생각이 든다. 닿을 것 같은데 닿지 않는다. 그러다 어느 순간 당근이 내 앞에 떨어진다. 잠시 숨통이 트이고 그것은 또 다른 원동력이 된다. 언젠가 다가올 밤을 계속해서 기다린다.
When I feel better, I go out and meet my friends. Many of my friends are quite successful. I feel envious of them, but they also inspire me to pursue my own path. It feels within reach but remains annoyingly elusive. Then, at some point, the carrot dangles. I catch my breath for a moment, and that becomes another driving force. I await the night that will eventually come.
